We heard many stories about the new 2017 GT 500 and its possible engines: 2.4 liter ecoboost with twin turbo, maybe a supercharged version of the 5.2 liter flat crank of the 2016 gt 350. All the clubs and the enthusiast sent to Ford e-mails, did phone calls, saying that the GT500 is untouchable. Well, the truth behind the engine, seems be different than the rumors said; Ford is testing from more than one year a 5.0 ecoboost twin turbo engine. “Our new SVT Halo Mustang will have more HP than the Hellcat” claims a Ford rep from a recent CNN interview. How it will end? We will discover ourselves at NAIAS 2016!
