This has been the first and the last day with a late wake up seated on the passenger side of a Jeep..Luckily we hadn’t to drive! Our schedule was quite elastic, but with 3-4 fundamental stops: the liquor store, my best friend’s tomb ( a military from U.S. Airforce) , the bill of rights museum, and the “Rocky” steps!

The first stop was at a local liquor store, near a gas station. A gentlemen stopped us, due to the fact we had mustangmania written on our Jacket; After a quick chat, he shown us the pictures of his 2004 Saleen convertible..a really nice car! We gave him a sticker, to thank him for sharing his experience, adn we moved to the local cemetery.

I had to say goodbye to one of my best friend so far. William Walter Cappella. William was a US Airforce military, in the Ghedi NATO Airbase in Italy. He died tragically in June 2012 due to a tragic car crash. Will was like a brother for me; we attended many Muscle car meetings; He was a real mustang lover, and he enjoyed sharing his passion with everyone, no matter what car club or forum or wathever they came from. We met the first time 2 years before at a Muscle car meeting  (the Tornado Run) organized from a local group, the Corvette Sharks Team.  I was really upset to see he still doesn’t have a stone YET. Luckily he is buried in front of a beatiful lake, surrounded from HEROES like him. God Bless US Troops!

Philadelphia, or “Phili”, as local people call it, is one of the oldest american cities, and it si the place where U.S.A. borned. Everybody in Europe knew this city for the famous “ROCKY STEPS”, from the first Rocky movie, and  from another Oscar-winning movie with Tom Hanks: Philadelphia. But there is a lot more! Philadelphia is the place where a group of corageous man decided to fight the British, and the bill of Rights has been created and signed,We visited as much as we can, than we decided, after a couple of pictures near the Rocky statue, to run on that “iconic” stairs. I learned later, only at the top of the stairs, that there is the Philadelphia art museum there!
